The MTB Val Gardena offers a choice of 30 developed mountain bike trails well marked and in different levels with a series of routes oriented towards the varied needs of the many fans of this great sport . The peculiarity of the area mountain bike Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi is its location. The 30 tracks in fact vary in altitude between 700 and 2,450 meters. Surrounded by the peaks of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto is one of the major highlands of Europe, the Alpe di Siusi. Here the paths for mountain biking mostly follow the trails of the meadows and woods.
The Alpe di Siusi is easily reached from Santa Cristina going up the different paths and forest roads or from Ortisei with the "Mont Sëuc " gondola. Instead, on the opposite side , facing south stands the Mount Rasciesa and 2500 meters of Mount Seceda. A scenic route of medium difficulty runs along the crest of the Seceda starting from the mountain station of the cable car . Under the majestic peaks of the Fermeda the trail continues in Puez -Odle. A real "highlight" is definitely the "Sella Ronda" in mountain biking. The track is suitable for the more experienced and passionate "biker " and you can make clockwise and counterclockwise. With the help of the lifts on tour around the Sella massif becomes a bit ' less challenging.
